Management Occupations drive construction industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 8% of the total new job postings in Q4 2023 and were down by 52% year-on-year. Second highest were Construction and Extraction Occupations, which accounted for 6% and rise by 80% year-on-year, and third highest were Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations, which were 8% of the new job postings and 48% lower year-on-year.
