Management Occupations drive construction industry hiring activity

Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Management Occupations, which accounted for 8% of the total new job postings in Q1 2024 and were down by 2% year-on-year. Second highest were Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations, which accounted for 4% and rise by 23% year-on-year, and third highest were Sales and Related Occupations, which were 59% of the new job postings and 21% lower year-on-year.

Top five companies in construction industry accounted for 69% of hiring activity

The highest number of jobs were posted by Vinci with 3,072, followed by Compagnie de Saint-Gobain with 1,751, while the highest increase was at Eiffage at 50%.
