The Royal College of Art (RCA) in London, UK, has shortlisted seven architectural firms for its new £108m Battersea South campus in an invited design competition.
The shortlisted architectural practices are Christian Kerez of Switzerland, Diller Scofidio + Renfro of the US, Herzog & de Meuron of Switzerland and UK,Lacaton & Vassal of France, Robbrecht en Daem architecten of Belgium, Serie Architects of the UK and Singapore, and Studio Gang of the US.
The seven finalist teams were selected from a total of 97 expressions of interest received from practices worldwide.
Selection panel included RCA rector and Architectural Selection Panel (ASP) chair Paul Thompson, ASP member and dean of architecture Adrian Lahoud.
The Royal College of Art expects to announce the winner in October.
The project will secure funding from the UK Government.
