Property developer Formal Investments plans to redevelop a commercial space in Glasgow with an investment of £75m.
The plan includes construction of a 12-storey building and 130,000ft² of office space on Bath Street, as well as the revamp of a second building that housed a previous BHS outlet.
It also plans to improve a third building located on Sauchiehall Street.
The total area under the redevelopment plan will reach 240,000ft².
Formal Investments director Nicholas King was quoted by Constructionenquirer.com as saying: “This proposal shows a really exciting vision for an important site in Glasgow city centre and will provide the highest quality environments for retailers and businesses, large and small.”
The design work for the redevelopment project is being carried out by Stallan-Brand.

By GlobalDataStallan-Brand associate Patrick Wilson said: “Formal Investment’s proposed redevelopment presents a unique opportunity to revitalise and transform the quality of the urban environment and public realm in this location, through the creation of new public spaces and improved and more appropriate mixed-use activity.”
In 2015, Formal Investment purchased the buildings that also accommodate Mountain Warehouse.
