Australian architecture giant Elenberg Fraser has won planning approval for the 78-storey Premier Tower in Melbourne, which has a design inspired by pop star Beyoncé Knowles.
To be built near the Southern Cross railway station in the Australian city, the skyscraper will house apartments, retail space and hotel rooms.

The mixed-use building is planned to be curvaceous, similar to the singer’s appearance in the 2013 music video, Ghost.
Elenberg Fraser said: "For those more on the art than science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic, we’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost."
The structure, reaching 226m, will contain 660 apartments and a 160-room hotel, reports Dezeen.
Located at 134 Spencer Street, the building will feature a series of curves and bulges that look pleasing but also support the structural efficiency with the help of Parametric modelling.
Architects claim that the building design is the culmination of research into overcoming the climate and wind, and specific limitations of the site.
"The complex form, a vertical cantilever, is actually the most effective way to redistribute the building’s mass, giving the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements," Fraser added.
Real estate Fragrance Group financed the project, which will require demolition of the Savoy Tavern, which opened at the site last year.
