Dallas-based architectural firm Corgan has been selected by Toyota as lead architect for its new North American headquarters in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in Plano, Texas, US.
Corgan is currently designing the temporary office space that will be occupied by Toyota in Plano until the construction of the permanent campus.
The new property, once completed, will house nearly 4,000 Toyota employees.
Corgan President and CEO Bob Morris said: "We are inspired by the challenge to create a facility that will bring Toyota team members and associates from across the US together in one building for the first time."
The new campus will deliver significant cost savings for Toyota; consolidate areas such as human resources, IT, legal and accounting; and put the company closer to its North American manufacturing base.
Toyota administrative services corporate manager Doug Beebe said: "Corgan is a world-class firm that has designed many beautiful corporate campuses and other projects, both here in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and around the world.
