Architecture firm BNKR Arquitectura is planning to build the 300m Earthscraper, a 65-storey inverted skyscraper deep below the metropolis of Mexico City, Mexico.
The Earthscraper will have retail space, apartments, offices and a museum displaying artifacts unearthed in the excavation.

The first half of the Earthscraper will incorporate a museum containing Aztec and Mayan artefacts, as well as retail and housing space, while the remaining 35 stories below will be used for office space.
The firm will construct it in the appearance of an inverted pyramid with a central void, which provides access to natural lighting and ventilation for all residents down to the lowest levels.
