Goldman Sachs was second by value, advising on deals worth $88.3bn.

Barclays followed at $52.8bn, with Bank of America handling $51.7bn and RBC Capital Markets at $36.5bn in transaction value.

For deal volume, JPMorgan ranked second with 15 transactions advised.

Goldman Sachs was next with 14 deals, while Houlihan Lokey and Generational Group each completed 13 transactions over the same period.

GlobalData lead analyst Aurojyoti Bose said: “Morgan Stanley registered year-on-year (YoY) growth in both volume and value terms during Q1-Q3 2026.

“However, the growth was more prominent in terms of value, and subsequently it emerged as the only adviser to surpass the $100bn mark in total deal value.

“During Q1-Q3 2026, Morgan Stanley advised on $13bn deals that included four mega deals valued at more than $10bn. The involvement in these big-ticket deals helped it register more than a fourfold jump in terms of value.”

GlobalData’s league tables are based on the real-time tracking of thousands of company websites, advisory firm websites and other reliable sources available in the secondary domain.
