Morgan Sindall has further expanded its collaboration with the University of Oxford in the UK to construct the Institute for Global Health building.
The £32m ($40.38m) project will deliver a 4,700m² building with facilities designed to house 400 staff and 330 researchers across three floors. The building will have no formal laboratories.
The Global Health building will serve as a central hub for the university’s worldwide health activities.
It aims to merge the site’s Centre for Tropical Medicine and Global Health with parts of the Oxford Population Health building.
This strategic investment in medical research infrastructure is intended to enhance the university’s collective expertise in the field.

The building will be constructed, insulated, and ventilated to adhere to the stringent Passivhaus-based standards for energy efficiency and environmental impact.

The university selected the construction company to construct its first new college in 30 years, Reuben College, in 2020.
