UK-based developer Inland Homes has received approval for its plans to build 350 homes on the 100-acre site at Wilton Park in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.

The planning application for the project was approved by South Bucks District Council planning committee on 5 June.

Alongside the homes, it plans to develop commercial and community space on the 100-acre site.

The project will be developed at a cost of £350m.

An additional part of the site is subject to a draft allocation for development. If this is adopted, the project could see an addition of up to 250 more homes and 200,000ft² of commercial space.

Inland Homes is awaiting a planning approval on its Cheshunt Lakeside scheme in Hertfordshire. This plan was deferred in May.

A decision on the planning approval is slated to be heard by the local planning committee on 25 June.

Inland Homes chief executive Stephen Wicks said: “We have continued to build on the underlying value of our projects since our half-year end results and a significant amount of effort has been put into both Cheshunt Lakeside and Wilton Park.

“After a number of years of hard work on Wilton Park, I am delighted with the positive decision delivered by the planning committee yesterday.”

Wilton Park is located near Junction 2 of the M40 besides Beaconsfield and Seer Green Stations. It is 23 minutes away from London Marylebone.
