Fluor booked its undisclosed share of the contract in the second quarter of this year.

Fluor Energy Solutions’ segment president Jim Breuer said: “Fluor values our relationship with Mitsubishi Chemical Group.

SoarnoL is a high gas-barrier resin that is used in the production of packaging materials that assist in extending the flavour and quality of food, resulting in minimal food waste.

Furthermore, SoarnoL-containing multilayer films are certified as highly recyclable when combined with Mitsubishi Chemical Group’s recycling compatibiliser Soaresin.

Mechanical completion of the projects is set for mid-2025.
