Private destination golf club ArborLinks has opened following significant upgrades and additions, including a redesigned clubhouse.

Initiated last year, the renovations included an addition on the facility’s east side, along with remodelling and reconfiguration of the club’s indoor and outdoor lounges, meeting spaces, offices, pro shop, back-of-house kitchens and cellar.

A part of Dormie Network, the upgraded club features high ceilings, bigger entryways and windows. A wine cellar, a full-service bar, lounge and a private dining space have also been added.

In addition, the facility’s Arnold Palmer Signature golf course received cart path renovations, fertility treatments and wider course conditioning.

The club also built five additional four-plex cottages with more than double space compared to its current on-site accommodations. All the cottages are designed for overnight accommodations of up to 40.

ArborLinks has also improved course conditions, including better conditioning practices such as semi-annual aerification procedures and ongoing fertility treatments.

Additional course improvements included bridge constructions, green renovations and surround reconstructions, cart path renovations and an on-course comfort station.

ArborLinks said that the facility would partner with the Arbor Day Foundation to break ground on a conservation trail, which will connect to the 260-acre Arbor Day Farm, a recreational space.

“ArborLinks reminds us of where we came from and keeps us grounded in our values-family, community, and stewardship.”

Dormie Network president Zach Peed said: “Our approach has been to reconstruct ArborLinks in a way that honours the history behind this land and the way of life it represents.

“As Dormie Network grows, ArborLinks reminds us of where we came from and keeps us grounded in our values-family, community, and stewardship.”

ArborLinks will officially open via a three-day event from 3 June through 9 June.
