Alimak Hek supplied an ALIMAK SC 45 FC construction hoist to MMC Gamuda KVMRT Sdn Bhd which they installed at Cochrane site in the Klang Valley for the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Project.

On 30 May 2013, the Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Razak visited the worksite and rode in the Alimak hoist to the bottom of the 30m deep launch shaft where he officially launched the tunnel boring machine.

Three additional ALIMAK SC 45 FC units will be installed for the same project this year.
