Sino-Ocean Land and Swire Properties have launched their Chengdu joint-venture (JV) retail project, called Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, in China.
Located in the Chengdu Jinjiang District, the project will be an open-plan, lane-driven mall covering an area of more than 100,000m².
The mall will feature a 100-room urban hotel, known as the Temple House, and 42 serviced apartments, both managed by Swire Hotels, as well as a 47-storey office tower called, Pinnacle One.
Swire Properties designed Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu to complement the traditional Sichuan style.
Upon completion, the 250,000m² complex will be directly connected to Chunxi Road metro station where Metro Lines 2 and 3 interchange.
The shopping streets of Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu will feature the GUCCI, Cartier, Hermès, Ralph Lauren, Chloé, Maria Luisa, Balmain and I.T brands.

Swire Properties chief executive officer of China Guy Bradley said the project will become a new urban lifestyle hub in Chengdu.
“Visitors will find the exploration of over 300 retail and food and beverage brands around the lanes, courtyards and plazas a truly different and enjoyable experience when the complex opens next year,” Bradley said.
The development is the second JV project by Sino-Ocean Land and Swire Properties after INDIGO Beijing, which was opened in September 2012.
Swire Properties has a portfolio of more than 13.5 million ft² of projects in China, including five mixed-use developments in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Shanghai.
