Vyoma.AI, a Larsen & Toubro (L&T) company, is set to construct India’s largest single-cluster NVIDIA B300 AI Factory at its Chennai data centre campus.  

The facility, developed through its subsidiary LTN Compute, will host a cluster with a capacity of 10,000 NVIDIA B300 GPUs to support US-based AI cloud platform provider, Together AI. 

The new AI Factory will underpin Together AI’s AI-native cloud platform, providing large-scale inference, fine-tuning and training workloads, L&T stated.  

By integrating hyperscale infrastructure, high-performance networking, ultra-low-latency interconnects, and parallel storage, the platform aims to enable seamless deployment and scaling of AI workloads. 

L&T's Chennai data centre campus, positioned as a gigawatt-scale AI infrastructure site, features an initial phase designed for 250MW and power readiness of 150 MVA.  

The company said this scalable set-up lays the groundwork for future expansion of the AI factory.

L&T stated that the deployment marks its entry into the AI factory business, with LTN Compute focused on building AI-ready digital infrastructure across India to support a variety of clients, including governments, enterprises and AI innovators. 

The announcement follows an agreement earlier this week under which L&T will transfer its data centre and cloud services business to Vyoma.AI for Rs14bn ($167m).
