Majid Al Futtaim, an integrated lifestyle provider, has announced the appointment of United Engineering Construction Company (UNEC) as the main contractor for two residential projects within the Tilal Al Ghaf community in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The contract, valued at Dh736m ($200.3m), covers the construction of 148 luxury villas across two developments, Plagette 32 and Amara, including interior fit-outs and the shell and core construction of a Beach Club.

The contract also includes landscaping for both in-plot and public realms, gatehouses, ancillary structures, and shallow infrastructure.

Plagette 32, a waterfront neighbourhood, features interiors by Bergman Design House and comprises 28 Club Villas and four Water Bungalows, each with private gardens and terraces.

The aforementioned Beach Club, in partnership with Sunset Hospitality, will offer leisure and dining experiences at the heart of the community.

Adjacent to Plagette 32, the Amara neighbourhood will consist of 116 twin villas, which will surround a landscaped central park.

Amara is designed to prioritise eco-conscious materials, contemporary design, and connectivity between homes and shared spaces.
