Construction on five trade counter/warehouse/industrial units at Stud Brook Business Park in Castle Donington, UK, is set to begin after the plans secured approval.

Clowes Developments received planning consent from North West Leicestershire District Council to build the new units, ranging from 3,229ft² to 4,606ft².

Plot one will feature five trade counter units, located around the operational Starbucks Drive-Thru to offer convenient access and central parking for trade counter operators.

The developer plans to announce the occupiers of these units in “due course”.

Clowes Developments development director James Richards said: “We’re thrilled to be moving forward with the next phase at Stud Brook Business Park. The park has proven incredibly popular, and demand from trade operators has been strong since its inception.

“Plot 1 represents an exciting opportunity to build on that momentum, delivering high-quality, accessible units in a prime location. Our ongoing collaboration with IMA Architects and local stakeholders ensures we’re delivering a scheme that not only meets commercial needs but also contributes positively to the wider Castle Donington community.”

IMA Architects collaborated with Clowes to bring this mixed-use development to fruition.

IMA Architects' Jack Mellors said: “I am delighted that our planning application for the development of five new units at Stud Brook Business Park has been granted.

“The development has been a huge success to date. Adding further convenience and amenities to the business park will enhance the offering for occupiers and locals alike.”

Roe Developments has been appointed as the lead construction contractor for the project and will carry out the work over a 30-week schedule. Occupation of the units by end users is expected around Christmas, with business operations anticipated to start next year.
