The Nemetschek Group has announced a strategic collaboration with buildingSMART Saudi Arabia to advance the adoption of open building information modelling (openBIM) and digital standards within the kingdom's construction and infrastructure sectors.
This initiative supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aiming to foster innovation, sustainability, and economic diversification in the domestic built environment.
The strategic partnership agreement outlines plans for both organisations to facilitate the implementation of openBIM in the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations sector.
They will also identify pilot projects to apply Nemetschek's solutions, furthering the adoption of these technologies in Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, the collaboration includes the development of professional certification programmes, training workshops, and advanced BIM implementation courses tailored for the Saudi market.
Advisory services will also be introduced, covering environmental, social, and governance practices and green building standards.
