Estithmar Holding’s Elegancia Contracting and Industries has been awarded a turnkey contract valued at more than QR500m ($137m) to deliver MEEZA’s latest data centre project in Qatar.
The project, to be delivered in two construction phases, is designed to increase capacity for hyperscale cloud providers and high-density AI workloads.
According to Estithmar, Elegancia Contracting and Industries will manage project delivery from site preparation through testing, commissioning and handover.
The scope includes civil, structural and architectural works, alongside mechanical and electrical systems. It also covers ICT infrastructure, security, fire protection, controls and monitoring systems, as well as quality assurance and health, safety and environment compliance.
Estithmar said the integrated delivery model is intended to reduce interface risk and coordinate work across the facility’s mission-critical systems.

Estithmar Holding stated that the contract expands its presence in mission-critical infrastructure, a market focused on facilities built to ensure continuous uptime for digital services.
The project would also strengthen Qatar Science & Technology Park’s (QSTP) role as a technology and innovation hub.
