Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Kamal Madbouly has announced that plans are in progress to commence registration for the inaugural launch of the second phase of the 'Your Home in Egypt' initiative, which is aimed at Egyptians living overseas.

The announcement follows a review of the ongoing projects undertaken by the country's Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities in a meeting, attended by housing minister Sherif El Sherbini and senior officials of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

The initiative is being launched in cooperation with the domestic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Expatriates.

The offering will include 1,380 housing units available for registration from 30 August to 4 September this year, with unit selection taking place from 20 to 25 September.

The second phase will provide approximately 3,000 residential, commercial, and administrative units across three offerings.

These include middle- and high-income housing in projects such as Diarna, Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, Ganna, and Valley Towers located in the cities New Cairo, New Alamein, New Mansoura, New Minya, New Damietta, October Gardens, and others.

The programme offers flexible payment options spanning up to a decade, along with discounts of up to 7%, addressing the needs expressed by expatriates at the sixth Conference of Egyptians Living Abroad.

El Sherbini said the programme aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to improve services for Egyptians living overseas and to support their involvement in national development efforts.

The minister also reviewed the 'Housing for All Egyptians' initiative, a housing programme for low-income citizens, which covers all governorates and new cities.

He added that the deadline for applications for the 'Housing for All Egyptians 7' offering has been extended to 14 September.

Regarding land offerings, El Sherbini stated that NUCA is increasing the provision of residential plots across various categories to address the rising demand.

This move is intended to encourage development in new cities and enable citizens from diverse income levels to construct their own homes in accordance with regulations.
