Wood Partners, a US-based real estate development company, has broken ground on Alta Davis, a new luxury residential community in Durham, North Carolina.

Located minutes away from Research Triangle Park (RTP), a large research park, construction on the site is now underway and the residential community is expected to open in the second half of next year.

Alta Davis will be a conveniently located community with large apartments and abundant amenities. Upon completion, it will include 403 units across seven buildings, each with four floors.

All the units will have access to elevators and will include high-quality finishes and amenities such as quartz counters, tile backsplash and hardwood-style flooring.

On-site amenities such as a coffee bar, game room, a fitness centre and saltwater swimming pool will also be included in addition to abundant co-working space.

Residents at Alta Davis are claimed to have easy access to more than 250 businesses and 50,000 technology and life science jobs.

“We know this community will provide residents with easy access to work while giving them a comfortable neighbourhood feel when they come home.”

The residential community is also claimed to be easily accessible within minutes through the Interstates 40, 540 and NC-147.

Wood Partners has been involved in the acquisition and development of over 82,000 multifamily properties. Currently, the company owns 68 properties across the US with a combined total of more than 18,000 housing units.
