Winvic Construction has broken ground on a project that will see the construction company build first four industrial facilities at Milton Keynes, UK, for developer PLP.
This comes as the delivery of the civils and infrastructure contract for PLP at South Caldecotte, Milton Keynes is ongoing until June 2023.
The company will deliver the facilities as net zero carbon in construction building, with scope for tenants to achieve net zero carbon in operation as each roof of the building will be able to hold up to 100% PV panels.
The first unit will be 14,900ft2 two-storey office building; second to be a 11,500ft2 two-storey office space; third unit will be a 14,700ft2 two-storey office space; and the fourth unit to be a 13,200ft2 two-storey office building.
Additionally, 17 acres of lowland meadows and 3.8km of pedestrian and cycle ways, which will be integrated into the MK Red Way cycle network, will be built at park of the project.
The handover of the first unit is slated for February, with final completion expected by the end of June next year.
