Masterplanned by Clague Architects, the new 60-acre development involves transformation of the historic HMS Ganges Naval facility into a new residential development.
It will provide around 300 newly constructed and converted homes.
The project will also provide restoration and preservation of many designated Royal Navy heritage assets that include Grade II listed entrance gates, two Martello Towers, Grade II listed ceremonial mast and a mid-19th Century Fort.
Galliard Homes executive chairman Stephen Conway said: “We are delighted to have entered into joint venture developments with Wavensmere Homes, facilitating around £300 million of new development and providing almost 850 new homes, also involving our existing partner Apsley House Capital.
“The new developments will deliver high-quality homes for hard-working families in Birmingham and the London commuter region.”
