UK-based regeneration specialist Vistry Partnerships has secured a contract from Populo Living, a wholly-owned housing company of Newham Council, to deliver £62m Plaistow Hub regeneration project in the UK.
The regeneration project, located in Plaistow, east London, is a mixed-use residential-led scheme which will include the construction of two separate residential buildings.
The project will also feature a new library, a neighbourhood centre, a supermarket, gym and café as wells as a new piazza.
Vistry said that the new scheme will improve the streetscape by connecting the locally listed Plaistow Underground Station to the new development and surrounding area.
The revenue generated by the development, which will be built across London Road and Valetta Grove sites, will support the development of 112 London Affordable Rent homes in the local area.
Plaistow Hub will be built across two separate sites – London Road and Valetta Grove.
