Veidekke’s subsidiary Grande Entreprenør has secured a contract to construct Bryggehagen residential project at Levanger centre in Norway.

The contract was awarded by Levanger Brygge Utbygging (Sebo Boliger and TOBB).

This design and build contract is valued at NOK160m ($16.1m), excluding VAT.

Grande Entreprenør general manager Morten Hynne said: “Through several great projects we have established a good partnership with SEBO Boliger and TOBB, and we are very pleased that they yet again have selected us as contractor on one of their residential projects.

“Levanger harbour has become an attractive residential area, and this project will make a great addition to Levanger centre.”

Bryggehagen is continuation of the Levanger Brygge residential project, which was finished last year.

Grande Entreprenør will construct two four-storey buildings and one five-storey building with 50 apartments and eight private care homes.

The project will also feature commercial premises on the ground floor and a common basement with parking and storage rooms.

Construction is expected to commence in February, with completion slated in late summer of 2024.

In October, Veidekke received a contract from Nesgata 19 utvikling to construct the second phase of housing in the Kvarteret residential project in the town of Lillestrøm, Norway.

Nesgata 19 utvikling is a JV of OBOS Nye Hjem and Otto Olsen Boligutvikling,

Kvarteret is located on the southern side of Lillestrøm, with retail outlets, cultural facilities and public transport allocated within walking distance.

Oslo Central Station and Gardermoen Airport are within 10-15 minutes away by train from the project.
