Residential developer OÜ Merko Kodud has revealed its plans to commence construction of the Uus-Veerenni residential project’s sixth stage in Tallinn, Estonia.

OÜ Merko Kodud is a division of Merko Ehitus, a construction company based in the Baltics.

The new phase includes the construction of an eight-storey building, which is expected to be completed by mid-2026.

This energy class A building, located at Tiiu 14, will add 63 apartments ranging from 35m² to 115m².

The apartments will include the provision for air-conditioning systems, with larger units having the system preinstalled.

The building will be encircled by a landscaped space with areas for relaxation and play.

It will also feature parking spaces equipped for electric car charging at its underground level.

Since its inception in 2019, the Uus-Veerenni project has seen the completion of 38 buildings, encompassing 504 apartments and 20 commercial spaces.

The quarter houses a nursery, and there are plans to add a commercial building to the Uus-Veerenni complex in the future.

Last month, MB.MEE, another division of Merko Ehitus, signed a contract with SIA SP Venta to build a solar power plant in Vārme parish, Kuldīga district, Latvia.

The contract is valued at around €20m ($21.35m), excluding VAT, with construction set for completion in August 2025.
