STACK Construction Technologies has partnered with Nearmap to support subcontractors by eliminating on-site visits and enhancing efficiency.

The partnership intends to use high-resolution aerial imagery to improve estimates, accuracy, mitigate risks, and boost bid output.

The integration of STACK’s cloud-based construction platform and Nearmap’s aerial imagery solutions allows contractors to import high-quality images directly into their quotes.

STACK COO Ray DeZenzo said: “STACK and Nearmap business models are highly compatible, our commitment to improving customer’s business is aligned, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about the strength and quick pace at which our partnership has come together.”

The solution streamlines the bidding process, enabling contractors to produce more bids with greater precision.

It also enables roofing contractors to deliver more precise estimates for projects such as reroofing, storm damage, and repairs.

The integration is designed to save contractors hours of work by minimising the time spent via on-site visits.

In addition, the use of Nearmap imagery allows for the remote hazard assessment of building height and power lines, which can lead to lower insurance rates and enhanced safety.

Nearmap Geospatial Solutions general manager Shelly Carroll said: “We’ve learned many of our customers want to choose how they access Nearmap imagery and insights within their technology stacks, which includes having the flexibility to access data instantly through the MapBrowser platform, or through a partner like STACK.

“Nearmap is responding to this customer need by adding flexibility and market-leading content including high-resolution 2D aerial imagery and 3D content to better support contractors, enabling our customers to work smarter and more efficiently.”

This comes after STACK announced its plans to deliver new and experimental AI functionalities last month.
