Real estate company Swedish Logistic Property (SLP) has acquired a land in Landskrona, Sweden to construct a new logistics building.

Located in direct proximity to the E6 motorway, the land will be taken into possession on 15 February this year.

The logistics building will be more than 10m of internal ceiling height along with 5,437m2 of total lettable area.

Building permit of the logistics facility will be submitted in the first quarter of this year and Pharmaxim is planned to move into the new building in March next year.

Distribution service company Pharmaxim has signed a ten-year lease agreement for 3,637m2 of space at the new logistics building.

The company distributes, sells, and markets products within pharmaceutical, health/hygiene/beauty, and animal care in the Nordic countries.

Pharmaxim CEO Johan Bäckström said: “We are very pleased to be able to stay in the Öresund region by SLP being able to present a project in a very attractive location in Landskrona. This creates optimal conditions for our continued growth journey.”

Work to rent the remaining approximately 1,800m2 space in the new logistics building has commenced.

SLP CEO Peter Strand said: “Together with a very stable tenant, we can carry out another fantastic new building project, this time at the best logistics location in Landskrona. The project creates good added value for our shareholders and new jobs in Landskrona.”

The company stated that the building will be certified according to Miljöbyggnad Silver of Sweden Green Building Council.
