
Skanska has secured a contract from Marina Club Apartments to construct a mixed-use building in St. Petersburg, Florida, US.
The contract carries a value of $111m, (approximately SEK1bn), which will be included by Skanska in the US order bookings for the third quarter of this year.
The multifamily-led scheme will comprise an eight-storey pre-cast building overseeing Boca Ceiga Bay.
The project includes building a new 400-unit apartment complex with a two-storey podium parking garage, amenities deck, mixed-use space, and retail space on first floor.
Work on the mixed-use building commenced in August this year.
The project is anticipated to complete in December 2024.

By GlobalDataEarlier this month, the company signed a contract amendment with Oregon Health & Science University for expanding latter’s hospital project in Portland, Oregon, US.
The contract amendment was worth $63m.
The company had decided to include this contract in the US order bookings for the third quarter of this year.
The deal covered early site and groundwork and attainment of long lead apparatus.
Construction had already begun and completion of the work under the contract amendment is scheduled to finish in June next year.
