
Skanska has inked a contract amendment with Oregon Health & Science University for its hospital expansion project in Portland, Oregon, US.
The contract amendment is valued at $63m.
This value will be included by Skanska in the US order bookings for the third quarter of this year.
The contract encompasses early site and groundwork and procurement of long lead apparatus.
Construction is underway and completion of the work under the contract amendment is slated to end in June next year.
Work on the OHSU Hospital Expansion Project started this April, and major completion is slated for 2026.

By GlobalDataEarlier this month, Skanska and Hoffman Construction Company signed a deal to expand the Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon, the US.
The contract was signed with Port of Portland.
Skanska’s share in this deal is worth $422m (about SEK4.1bn).
This contract includes work on the Terminal Core Expansion project, encompassing interior and exterior polishes.
Construction of the project has already begun, with completion scheduled for 2025.
