Construction and infrastructure services company Robertson Construction is set to commence construction on the £15m Tullibody South Campus project in Scotland following the financial close.
The East Central Scotland hub has partnered with Clackmannanshire Council to deliver the project and selected Robertson Construction as the main contractor.
A part of the project is being funded by the Scottish Government’s Schools for the Future and Early Years programme and the council.
Clackmannanshire Council education spokesperson councillor Graham Lindsay said: “I’m pleased that this important stage of the project has been reached, and the construction of this wonderful new state of the art campus is beginning.
“We’re grateful for the investment that the Scottish Government has made in our young people, and working together with all our partners we’re now focused on delivering our two new schools and nursery.”
Under the project, the contractor will establish two schools, namely Abercromby Primary School and St Bernadette’s RC Primary School, as well as a nursery featuring two gym halls, meeting spaces, an immersive room and a new library.
