
RangeWater Real Estate has started construction of The Kendry, the multifamily real estate project in Charlotte, North Carolina, the US.
The Kendry, which will be the company’s sixth ground-up development project in the Charlotte submarket, is located in the University City neighbourhood.
It will be situated near the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, IBM’s local corporate offices, new corporate headquarters for healthcare giant Centene, and the Mecklenburg County greenway and light rail, specifically the Doby Creek Greenway.
RangeWater Carolinas and Tennessee Development managing director Palmer McArthur said: “The Kendry will serve Charlotte professionals seeking a quality home in a walkable neighborhood.
“The convenience of the greenway and the light rail makes this community an ideal location with easy access to local employers, retailers and restaurants.”
Situated at 1029 West W.T. Harris Boulevard in Charlotte, the Class A apartment project is planned to be completed 2022.

By GlobalDataThe project will have 300 residences in three buildings. It will feature a clubhouse and courtyard pool in a wooded setting on 56 acres.
RangeWater president and CEO Steven Shores said: “The Kendry represents our continued investment in North Carolina and the growth trajectory of the city as a whole.”
Recently, RangeWater Real Estate and equity partner, ParkProperty Capita announced plans to start construction on 261-unit The Raven at Tremont in South End of Charlotte.
Comprising one- and two-bedroom apartments with 9ft ceilings and modern finishes, The Raven at Tremont will feature top floor sky lounge, pool, fitness centre, 10,000ft2 of open green space and a dog park.
