
Nordic community builder Peab has been awarded a contract by Swedish property management company Catena to build three logistics facilities in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The estimated value of this turnkey contract is worth Skr700m ($64.81m).
The new facilities will be built in Helsingborg’s Långeberga district. To be built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards, the buildings will feature logistical space and surrounding offices of a total of 75,000m² in gross floor area.
Peab region manager Olle Olsson said: “We’re proud to have been entrusted with taking on this extensive construction project that contributes to the continued development of the Långeberga area.
“The project’s ambition is to be at the forefront of future logistics facilities and sustainability, where we have a lot to offer. This is a good example of our locally produced community building where we, in partnership with Catena, in the near future will get started.”
Construction is expected to start in August this year, with the project set to finish in November 2025.
