Canary Wharf Construction has selected WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff to provide building services design to its Ten Bank Street building at the Canary Wharf development, London, UK.
WSP Parsons Brinckerhoff project director Richard Gubbins said: "This is another significant win for our high-rise team here in London.
"Our building services team alone are involved in several buildings comprising over one million square feet in London, and this high-profile project win for a well-respected client cements our position as one of, if not the best engineer for tall buildings in London and the UK."
Previously, the firm was responsible for engineering works of the Shard and New York’s Freedom Tower. It is presently handling several other projects, including multiple high-rise buildings at London’s 22 Bishopsgate and Meridian Gate.
Canary Wharf Construction has received planning consent for the 700,000ft² office tower, which is situated in the heart of Canary Wharf.
The primary tenant of the building will have the scope to modify and customise the layout of the building to fit occupational requirements.
