Camden Council in the UK has approved the design for Three Pancras Square office building to be constructed at King’s Cross in London.
The 11-storey building has been designed by Porphyrios Associates.

It will be developed at the corner of King’s Boulevard and Goods Way, overlooking the Regent’s Canal.
The main entrance of the building will be on Pancras Square, while another entryway will be on the building’s eastern side, making it accessible from King’s Boulevard.
The building will mainly comprise office space spanning 160,000ft² over ten floors, and will be built around one single core to ensure efficient use of space.
The central core will feature six passenger lifts, stairs and services, allowing all the offices to have windows around the perimeter.

Shops and restaurants will be built at ground level, while glass-fronted retail areas at the ground floors will create sightlines throughout the building.
The base of the building covers two storeys and will be designed to match the character of the surroundings.
Porphyrios Associates principal Demetri Porphyrios said: "Our design for Three Pancras Square is inspired by the robust repetition and change that both late 19th century industrial buildings and contemporary office buildings exhibit.
"We also wanted to build in a manner that celebrates pre-cast stone, with its large tectonic scale and the attendant windows of glazed ‘gaps’.
Specialist office architects Morrow and Lorraine are working on the designs for the common areas. Construction is expected to start this year and be completed by mid 2016.
