Property developer Tamdeen Group has confirmed that its $700m Al Khiran project will be located in the heart of the Sabah Al Ahmed Sea City complex, 85km south of Kuwait City.
Al Khiran development will become an entertainment and commercial hub for the new community at Sabah Al Ahmed Sea City.

Planned to be spread across 350,000m² of waterfront, the resort-style project will have Kuwait’s first high-end 75,000m² outlet mall, two high-rise residential towers, one furnished apartment tower, a marina to house more than 900 boats and a five-star resort hotel.
According to the company, the outlet mall has been designed by RTKL architects to have an outdoor ambience with indoor streets covered by continuous skylights that provide natural light.
It will feature resort-style architecture incorporating traditional Arabic motifs, and its façade design will add to the identity.
A continuous, covered mall arcade will showcase the retail elements, while offering comfortable seating for various restaurants.
Tamdeen Group chairman Mohammed Jassim Khalid Al Marzouq said: "The new found cooperation between the government and parliament has given us even more confidence to invest further in Kuwait.
"Today we have projects worth $2bn in the pipeline.
"Kuwait is recognised as a country that has one of the world’s highest per capita income estimated at $48,260, which means the country is well-placed to drive growth across different retail segments. It also remains one of the most underserviced markets in the GCC in terms of quality retail space."
US landscape architects PWP have created the landscape link for the entire project and provided terraced seating options for diners.
