The 8,430m2 academy has been designed by architect FaulknerBrowns and will be built after demolishing the current school building and the new academy will be a two-storey main building comprising of a specialist teaching block and four separate house blocks.

The other project includes the £9m University Academy Holbeach for Lincolnshire County Council.

The University Academy Holbeach will be a co-educational academy which will house about 1,150 pupils, replacing two secondary modern schools, the George Farmer Technology & Language School in Holbeach and the St Guthlac School in Crowland.
