The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) has launched a competition to redesign and develop the management school at Lancaster University, UK.
Upgrade works are intended to foster an innovative teaching, research, and business-engagement environment to support future requirements of students, staff and business partners.

The university is inviting expressions of interest from architects and design teams for the redevelopment project.
Five applicants will be shortlisted, who will then participate in the tender and design concept phase of the competition.
Lancaster University will pay an equal honorarium of £10,000 to each of the shortlisted teams, it said
The winner will co-ordinate with the university to create a design that provides optimum use of existing facilities and development sites, and builds new opportunities for the campus’s 18,000m² accommodation area.
The scheme will be carried out in accordance with necessary statutory consents, from construction to delivery and up to handover.
Lancaster University Facilities director Mark Swindlehurst said: "Lancaster University values the contribution that good design brings to its built environment.
"We are keen to explore how recent developments in design across higher education and global business can combine to create world-leading education / workspace environments."
