
Middle East company Omniyat Group has broken ground on new seafront development ANWA by Omniyat in Dubai.
Dubai Maritime City revealed its ambitious plan at the ground breaking ceremony for the marine destination, which will feature 53 mixed-use projects, hotels, shopping malls, restaurants and ten parks.
Dubai Maritime City chairman H E Khamis Juma Buamim and other senior officials from Dubai Maritime City and Omniyat Group attended the ground breaking event.
Kele has been appointed as contractor for the project and Al Ghurair Contracting & Engineering Works will be the specialist contractor for piling works.
Omniyat Group executive chairman and CEO Mahdi Amjad said: "It always gives me great pleasure to be at Dubai Maritime City, a city that will be a destination of choice not only for global maritime businesses and investors but also for those searching for a unique residential experience set along waterfront."
ANWA by Omniyat will be located next to the marina and boardwalk, offering 225 units consisting of 29 studios, 80 one-bedroom, 87 two-bedroom and 23 three-bedroom apartments, one penthouse and five townhouses.
The destination will provide amenities such as 8,133ft² of retail space, landscaped gardens, a gymnasium, an infinity pool, and children’s pool and play zone and barbeque area.
Buamim said: "This project will play a key role in positioning Dubai Maritime City as an ideal location for modern living with a perfect work-life balance.
"ANWA will be a key component of Dubai Maritime City offering an ideal living experience by the sea."
