Construction and property development company NCC has secured a contract worth SEK830m ($101m) with Sweden-based Fabege to construct an office building next to Arenastaden in Solna.

The proposed 40,000m² office building will house new headquarters of ICA, with seven storeys and an underground 120-space parking garage. It will be BREEAM-SE Excellent certified and also have glazed facades.

NCC’s building Sweden head Henrik Landelius said: “Cooperation during the project engineering phase has been excellent and we look forward to carrying out this project together with Fabege.

“It is our first large-scale assignment for the company and we are using a collaboration form known as partnering.”
