The Palm Gateway

Dubai-based real estate developer Nakheel has unveiled plans for The Palm Gateway project, a three-tower beachfront residential, retail and leisure complex to be built at the Palm Jumeirah.

Planned to be constructed on the existing Palm Monorail Gateway terminal, the new project will feature more than 1,300 homes with a beach club, retail, dining and fitness outlets, with the tallest tower rising 260m high.

The taller Tubular Tower will have 61 floors including 46 above podium level and 520 apartments, the 211m Central Tower will comprise 49 floors including 32 above podium level and 429 apartments, and the 205m Beach Tower will consist of 48 floors with 34 above the podium, and 313 apartments.

The project involves transforming the roof of the Monorail into a 15th floor podium with infinity pool, shops and sports facilities established in widely landscaped grounds.

Spanning more than 5.5 million ft² of gross floor area, the three towers will encompass their own beach club and park, a shaded, landscaped complex with a several waterfront dining and shopping choices, pool, barbecue areas, a jogging track, together with 4,000 parking spaces.

An additional 57 terrace apartments and duplexes will be built within the existing 14-storey Gateway building.
