National Australia Bank’s (NAB) Village Customer Innovation Centre has opened in Melbourne, Australia.
The Village was designed by architectural firm Woods Bagot and provides a space for the activity and energy of entrepreneurship.
The 500m² centre is located at 700 Bourke Street, Docklands, and complements NAB’s other buildings in the area.
The Village features drop-in desk spaces, casual and formal meeting areas, and meeting pavilions that can be made private or opened up.
Woods Bagot principal Simon Pole said that transformable spaces, a mix of furniture, graphics and artwork were all part of the design strategy to draw people in and facilitate co-working.
"We wanted to have fun with the design of these pop-up spaces, encouraging group collaboration and creativity for NAB’s customers and community," Pole said.
