Minnesota United Football Club (FC) has been selected as the construction manager for the proposed $120m stadium development in St. Paul, US.
The stadium is expected to have a seating capacity for 20,000 people, and its construction works are scheduled to start next year.
The new stadium is planned to be set up between Minneapolis and St. Paul, at the intersection of Snelling and University avenues, in the Midway area of St. Paul.

Mortenson senior vice-president Ken Sorensen said: "Mortenson is honoured to be selected by Minnesota United FC to build this world-class stadium in our community for the world’s biggest sport.
"We look forward to partnering with Minnesota United FC, the City of St. Paul, Populous, and the exceptionally talented men and women in the local construction trades to deliver this tremendous project."
