Mace and Knight Dragon celebrated the topping out of Greenwich Peninsula’s Upper Riverside first phase, which covers an area of roughly 1.6 miles by the side of the River Thames.
The Greenwich Peninsula is London's largest single regeneration project and is currently undergoing an £8.4bn transformation scheme.
The redevelopment is expected to result in 15,720 new homes in seven new neighbourhoods, a major film studio, a new design district, schools, offices, as well as health services and public spaces.
Knight Dragon appointed Mace in 2015 to design two new residential towers containing a combined total of 464 apartments, one 22 storeys and the other 23 storeys high respectively.
The buildings will also include outdoor terraces, rooftop garden space, a swimming pool and a gym.
Mace project director Bob Coe said: “The topping out of a project is a significant milestone and we're delighted that for our first venture with Knight Dragon on the Peninsula we are able to celebrate this achievement.

The concrete frame for the first phase has been delivered by AJ Morrisroe.
Knight Dragon's Project Delivery director Neil McGinty said: “The topping out of the first phase of Upper Riverside is testament to what we can do when we work collaboratively and our goals are aligned.
"Mace, AJ Morrisroe and the numerous consultants and contractors who support them embody this ethic and have shown that they are at the vanguard of delivering fantastic projects."
The £150m regeneration project is currently scheduled for completion next year.
