Construction firm ISG has won two office fit-out projects in Abu Dhabi, with a combined value of over £22m.
The projects cover the new headquarters of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and the fast-track fit-out of a scheme for national health insurance company, Daman.
The £13.5m scheme for Daman will see ISG work alongside designer Bluehaus to create a new headquarters for the insurance provider.
It involves the complete fit-out of Finance Tower in the ADNEC exhibition area of Abu Dhabi, to deliver 19 floors of office accommodation, totalling 230,000ft² in area.
ISG will create a large auditorium for conferencing and to facilitate staff training sessions, an on-site data centre, as well as a sizeable canteen facility and associated commercial kitchen.
The scheme also includes complex structural elements, with a reconfiguration at mezzanine level to infill a double-height atrium space to provide an increased floor area.
The £9m TCA Abu Dhabi’s scheme involves the fit-out of 14 floors within Nation Towers, a new office development near the southern end of the city’s Corniche.
ISG said the 150,000ft² project, from shell and core, involves the delivery of high-specification accommodation to an accelerated timeframe, within strict budgetary constraints.
The scheme incorporates high-quality materials, including veneered joinery panelling and stone floor inlays, as well as advanced IT infrastructure and efficient building services.
