The competition was hosted by Korea Racing Authority, the operator of the park, and organised by International Union of Architects.
It obtained 23 entries from companies across the world.
The park covers an area of 148ha.
Grimshaw and Now Architects’ design and master plan for the park includes a comprehensive new racecourse with a family park, which would provide various equine-themed sports, activities and outdoor attractions.
The design of the park is intended to create a natural and intuitive flow of landscape and activities between several aspects of the project.
