Gotham Organisation has broken ground on its $520m mixed-use residential development in Midtown West, Manhattan, US.
The project has been designed by Schuman Lichtenstein Claman.

The project includes 1,200 residential units spread across four buildings between West 44th and West 45th streets from tenth to 11th avenues.
The development will include a 31-storey tower located on the corner of 45th Street and 11th Avenue which will have 550 luxury apartments, amenity spaces including a sky terrace, 10,000ft2 of indoor recreational space, a 10,000ft2 interior courtyard, on-site parking and bicycle storage.
The development will also transform the only remaining structure on the site into residential condominium units and the company will also construct a new public elementary school for 630 students.
The project is slated to be completed by 2014.
