Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding have unveiled plans for a multi-billion residential project called Dubai Creek Harbour at The Lagoons.
Dubai Creek Residences will consist of six towers and will be the first residential development to open at the Dubai Creek Harbour, providing expansive views of the city skyline.
The project includes twin towers of up to 40 storeys (Tower 1 North and Tower 1 South), offering one, two and three-bedroom apartments ranging between 880ft² and 2,154ft² of space.
Emaar chairman Mohamed Alabbar and Dubai Holding CEO Ahmad Bin Byat will officially launch the project on 1 November.
The plans include a retail precinct, pedestrian walkways and The Dubai Twin Towers, which will be the world’s tallest twin towers.
Following completion, the 6.5 million m² urban district will have an integrated transportation system, environmentally sustainable ecosystems and green open parks.
Emaar Properties chairman Mohamed Alabbar was quoted by arabianbusiness.com as saying that: "Dubai Creek Residences takes residents to the very source of Dubai’s history and provides them a modern, luxurious, living environment.
"The project is a true tribute to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to create a dynamic city of the future that integrates smart networks, while building on the cultural heritage of our city."
The launch of Dubai Creek Residences will be held on a first-come first-served basis in four locations Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London and Moscow.
