Pacific Gate

Bosa Development has unveiled details and renderings for its new 41-storey residential building ‘Pacific Gate’ in downtown San Diego, US.

Pacific Gate will feature 215 two and three bedroom residences that range in size from 1,240ft² to 2,608ft².

The project will have around 15,000ft² of commercial space and about 450 parking spots.

Designed to be 490ft tall, the building will have floor space of 62,000ft².

New York-based architect Kohn Pedersen Fox has collaborated with Chris Dikeakos Architects to design the oval glass residential tower.

Two nested curved glass towers of the building will rise as a single column from a three-storey ground floor retail podium on the north and west sides.

The building also features custom-designed public spaces and residences, white terrazzo floors, custom-designed walnut walls and chairs.

Each residence will feature open layouts, HBA custom-designed kitchens, quartz counter tops and appliances from Wolf, Sub-Zero and Miele.

Other amenities offered at Pacific Gate include access to a residents-only guest suite, chef concierge, and private boat share.

Construction of the building is scheduled for late 2017.
