BAM has secured a contract from Buckinghamshire County Council to build the new £22m Aylesbury Vale Academy in Buckinghamshire, UK.
The new academy is being designed by Nicholas Hare Architects.
The academy, which will specialise in Science and Technology with ICT, is organised around a central heart or innovation space, which features a large ETFE-covered atrium.
All three colleges at the academy have a dedicated wing and there will be a terracotta-clad learning resource centre.
The project work is expected to commence in early 2012 and the new facility is scheduled to start taking on students by September 2013.
